1. Staff accounts are invitation only
Nobody can create a staff account by signing up on the public website. The public sign-up page only makes public accounts, for people who apply for support or invest.
Staff accounts come from one place only: an invitation sent by an administrator. This is a deliberate rule. It means every staff member has a known role, a known scope, and a known person who invited them.
Some facts to remember:
- The Platform Super Administrator role can never be invited. It is held by the platform owner and cannot be limited by scope.
- The State Coordinator Admin role must always have a state scope.
- The Institution Admin role must always have an institution scope.
- The Client System Administrator works only inside its own tenant (the client's own space in DFFMS).
